What are your primary research interests?

Single molecule biophysics of molecular motors.

Describe the most challenging project you have worked on. What made it so challenging?

We have been trying to develop a single molecule assay for a molecular motor that has only been studied in bulk. It has been a difficult undertaking because the assay has presented many unexpected challenges.

What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of research?

I like to play/watch sports, read, and hang out with my wife, family, and friends.

What's the best advice anyone is given you?

Whatever you decide to do in life, make sure that it is something that you are going to want to get up for every morning -- My dad.

If you could meet anyone, from the past or the present, who would it be? What would you say to him or her?
